Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Industrial Engineering Manager located in Bukit Minyak, Penang

Reporting to the Director, the Global Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a global team of industrial engineers working on increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently

What a typical day looks like:
  • Deploy Global Industrial Engineering standardization systems that support Flex Automation
  • Create Master standard data (MSD) for all sites Industrial Engineers
  • Design and standardize the Flex Industrial Engineering labor and equipment capacity analysis methodologies, processes, and systems
  • Standardize the Industrial Engineering space & layout design processes
  • Facilitate and standardize the Industrial Engineering working process in standards management, resource optimization, and productivity performance management processes
  • Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
  • May develop management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation
  • Develops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.
  • Designs or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as determining the most efficient plant locations.
  • Organizes details into a broad view of the total operations and organization of Flex.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Requires an Industrial Engineering or related Engineering degree.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
