Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who create great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to hire a Failure Analysis Engineer based at the North Campus in Guadalajara.
Reporting to the Test Engineer, the Failure Analysis Engineer role involves being responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods for troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.
A typical day involves:
• Leading and/or coordinating technical or electronic engineering staff in the design of failure analysis methods, tests, and test control devices, equipment, software, or test systems.
• Leading and coordinating strategies to debug failed products from the testing process.

• Analyze and interpret failure data and prepare technical reports for use by electronic engineering, software, and management personnel.
• Train and instruct floor support personnel, diagnostic technicians, and test operators on test hardware/software, failure solutions, and appropriate troubleshooting techniques.
• Diagnose failed units through root cause analysis, development and coordination of corrective measures, and monitoring of improvements, following up with process engineering.
• Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal or compatibility issues between components.
Provide technical documentation and tools for diagnostic purposes.
• Direct contact with customers.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
• Experience as a Failure Analysis Engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Conversational English, able to hold meetings with customers.
• Knowledge of CAD software.
• Knowledge of Agile and BAAN.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Handling of diagnostic and testing equipment.
