Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add an EHS Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, the student will support site EHS programs to meet corporate requirements and maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Support EHS team in aligning New Business Opportunities (NBO) with current EHS programs from project level to full production.
  • Support EHS team implementation of FY25 safety campaign (data review and analysis).
  • Support the EHS team in streamlining and consolidating data records for EHS reporting.
  • Participate and provide support to the Emergency Response Team organization.
  • Special Projects - Additional ERGO analysis, IH testing, etc.
  • Support EHS team in incident analysis to minimize recurrence and prepares incident reports.
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
  • Currently enrolled Senior (graduating August/December 2024) pursuing degree in a relevant Engineering or Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Office; advanced skills preferred
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Previous internship in manufacturing environment; a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
  • Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
