Job Summary

The " Environment Health & Safety Engineer " will be based in Dundalk, Ireland reporting to Senior EH&S Manager and will be in charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain Organisational Management Systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) to ensure the effective management of Health, Safety and Environment matters at the Site Services Offices and on Operational Sites.
  • Review, update, and publish HSE Controlled Documentation.
  • Conducting and participating in the Auditing Process to assure compliance to requirements.
  • Communicate & Maintain Organisational Policies and Metrics.
  • Proactively work with operational teams to ensure that EHS is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified.
  • Promoting ownership and positive EHS culture.
  • Monitoring and Measuring EHS objectives and targets in-line with defined metrics.
  • Compliance Assurance in line with client, legislation, and best practices.
  • Managing, mentoring, and coaching personnel to EHS requirements and norms.
  • Control and maintain local Environmental Permits and Licences.
  • Review, update, and publish CoHSS evaluations.
  • Drive EHS Continual Improvement.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Degree in Engineering, Environment or Health Sciences OR equivalent experience OR NEBOSH level 5 certification . Lvl 6 Certificate in H+S minimum
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in EHS/similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize own workload and use initiative.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland (EU).
  • Full driving License/own transport as travel between sites may be required
