Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced (4 to 5 years) Manual/Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. As a Tester, they will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, create detailed test plans, and execute tests effectively. Their expertise will contribute to improving our testing processes and methodologies, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of our products.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans based on product requirements and design specifications.
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure overall system quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide valuable feedback.
• Document and track defects, and work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve bugs/issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools used by the QA team.
• Automate manual testcases using scripting tool

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• 3-5 years of experience in manual/automation testing of web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge in the Finance domain is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving, logical, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Certified in ISTQB Foundation Level is an added advantage.
