Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a CPS Service Engineer based out of our Service Centre in Hemel, covering sites across the UK and occasionally Europe.

Reporting to the CPS Operations Manager, the CPS Service Engineer role involves performing routine and intrusive maintenance, surveys, and remedial work on LV Switchgear systems, including live and isolated operations. The role also encompasses delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of LV Switchgear, while ensuring strict adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental regulations .

• Carry out routine non-intrusive Live Maintenance and Thermal Imaging Surveys of LV Switchgear.
• Carry out routine intrusive LV Isolated Maintenance on LV Switchgear.
• Carry out routine intrusive LV Isolated Breaker Maintenance on LV Switchgear.
• Carry out surveys, modifications and remedial tasks on LV Switchgear.
• Delivery and Installation of LV Switchgear.
• Interconnection/Testing/Commissioning of LV Switchgear.
• At all times and in all respects conforming to and complying with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company.
• Be aware of the quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) matters related to the works in hand.
• Ensure method statements are understood, acknowledged and followed.

• Electrical Qualification - Minimum of City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Experience working on LV Switchgear or similar Critical Power Equipment is preferred, however full training can be given to the right candidate.
• Experience with Thermal Imaging is preferred.
• The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail. They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility.
• Full UK Driving License
