What You'll Do

In this role, you will lead the Sales Operations and Sales Analytics teams. The Sales Operations team acts as business partners to sales leaders to ensure selling at Flatiron is frictionless and efficient. The Sales Analytics team delivers data-driven insights to sales and corporate leadership to help them understand the current and future state of the business. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Operations & Analytics
    • Implement and manage sales forecasting processes that accurately predict future bookings and revenue performance. Ensure forecasting efforts are integrated with other processes within the company, including annual planning.
    • Establish KPIs that measure the most important contributors to business performance. Provide actionable business insights through measuring business and team performance, including regular reviews of pipeline, forecast, and strategic initiatives. Publish and maintain KPI dashboards.
    • Develop and lead a data governance program to ensure the accuracy of sales and revenue data.
  • Sales Compensation
    • Own quota and sales compensation design. Partner with sales leadership and finance to ensure fair, timely, and documented quota setting.
    • Track sales rep performance to quota, and calculate payouts.
  • Continuous improvement of the sales process
    • Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities to simplify the sales process through optimization and automation. Refine current workflows to simplify how sales teams interact with Salesforce and other tools in the sales stack. Foster an organization of continuous process improvement.

Who You Are

You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you're an effective communicator with at least 7 years of experience in Sales Operations, and 3 years leading high performing teams.

  • You possess a deep knowledge of sales operations best practices and tools such as Salesforce, and have experience in establishing the function within early stage sales organizations.
  • You have experience in optimizing business processes from the diagnosis to execution.
  • You have a proven ability to develop tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity and performance. Background of introducing performance metrics and improvement programs.
  • You have experience designing sales compensation plans and establishing operating mechanisms
  • You are deeply experienced in transforming data into relevant insight to guide actions of senior stakeholders, and distilling complex topics into messaging appropriate for executive consumption.
  • You are an experienced leader who has coached and managed individual contributors and managers for at least 3-5 years. You are comfortable laying out a clear vision of your team's most important priorities, and adept at multitasking and prioritizing with your team at times of high activity during the end of the month and quarter.
  • You are highly organized, customer-focused, and have a strong attention to detail.
  • You have a strong desire to execute, drive impact, and demonstrate urgency with projects big and small.
  • You are comfortable operating independently in a fast-changing environment and with multiple teams relying on you.

Job Compensation Range

Salary Range: $168,000.00 - $252,000.00

Preferred Primary Location: NYC Headquarters

The annual pay range for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed above. If you are applying to this role at a location that is not the preferred primary location, please keep in mind the salary range will vary and may fall outside of what is listed. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
