Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This position is a key contributor role to the management of highly complex aspects of Business Application tracking, analysis, and reporting. Supports, maintains, and improves upon asset management governance, standards, procedures, plans, controls, and operating metrics to achieve operational objectives. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements process improvements through knowledge of IT asset management.
Responsibilities
- Project and Product Management - Provides support and oversight to IT projects and products. Completes project tasks, drives project schedules, product releases, and conveys results or updates to the appropriate parties.
- Business Support - Actively involved in the programming, business analysis, or testing activities, including the determination of scope, time and cost estimates, and system impact within user requests. Facilitates system modifications within existing system architecture and assists with architectural changes as necessary. Contributes to the development and refinement of business technology roadmaps, including setting priority and understanding cross team impacts.
- Technical Expertise - Serves as a technical expert and strategic participant to associates, IT teams and business units. Ensures that activities comply with all appropriate configuration, change controls, and security standards. Participates in business meetings and special projects to provide insight on end-user needs. Keeps abreast of industry trends.
- Operational Support - Provides expert support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business practices. Handles escalated matters that arise during daily operations and providing guidance to IT asset management analysts.
- Identifying Business Objectives - Supports strategy development to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these using specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
- Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Develops process enhancements based on reporting.
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
- Relationship Management - Involved in key relationship management within the enterprise. This includes asset owners, operations, procurement, risk, and audit.
- Process Stability and Improvement - Contributes to all aspects of the CI lifecycle including process, policy, procedure definition, and identification of improvement opportunities.
- Mentoring and Coaching - Mentoring and educating team members and stakeholders on ITAM processes and practices.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of Standard Development Life Cycles (like Waterfall or Agile), Knowledge of system and data design
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB Utah +
- Experience with reporting and dashboards in ServiceNow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; troubleshooting & analytical skills; and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to independently work efforts and report on status
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills showing attention to detail with a strong customer focus
- Excellent developing and delivering presentation skills
The base pay for this position is generally between $116,000 and $170,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
