IT Quality Control Analyst III (Remote)

Overview

Quality Control plays an important role in maintaining compliance, reducing cost, and execution time by verifying key processes across First Citizen's Information Technology organization.

The Technology Quality Control Analyst III is responsible to verify adherence to First Citizen's Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) standards and to promote continuous improvement of control performance.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    • Define the Quality Control approach to ensure the ITAM implementation conforms to standards and is fit for use.
    • Establish Quality Control objectives, metrics, review process and expected output.
    • Measure, monitor and evaluate the implemented process by testing against the predetermined objective and a defined set of quality criteria.
    • Perform analytical testing of compliance with all applicable procedures and regulations.
    • Conduct testing by physical examination, inspection, walk-through or measurement of defects.
    • Compare results, analyze the defects or deviations, determine their cause. Identify weaknesses and/or vulnerabilities in the ITAM products and processes.
    • Produce report of Findings and review with technology leads and Senior Management.
    • Initiate and track a corrective action plan.
    • Monitor performance with statistics and compare to set of objectives to enhance performance.
    • Establish an escalation path and communication when issues are detected in adherence to standards and set objectives.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $100,636 to $154,309 per year.

Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance experience in a Financial Services organization OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance experience in a Financial Services organization
    License or Certification Type: American Society for Quality certification(s) Required
    Skills/Experience:
    • Strong knowledge of QC and QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 5 years minimum hands-on experience.
    • Working knowledge of IT Asset Management, Quality Assurance and Data Management.
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in analytical method verification.
    • Organized and detail oriented, self-driven, and capable independently solving problem.
    • Capable of handling multiple projects at one time, and changing priorities based on business needs.
    • Advanced MS Office applications: ServiceNow (Hardware and Software Asset management Modules is a plus); JIRA Testray, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
