Senior HRIS Analyst - Workday

Guadalajara, Mexico

What will you contribute?
This position will support People Technology systems used globally within the organization and will serve as a Subject Matter Expert to support various functionality within Workday (primarily Absence & Learning) as well as the full organizational HRIS framework. Will own system functionality and configuration for their assigned modules in Workday and will consult with cross functional teams across the global organization to make recommendations for efficiencies & system automation in support of their business processes.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as subject-matter-expert for specific Workday modules for entire organization (Absence and Learning)
  • Work directly with users within the HR Community as well as the Business Operations to serve as Workday SME to provide detail of what the system can do to support their processes
  • Lead project teams through change management in order to establish new processes and automations
  • Partner with cross-functional project teams to execute identified strategic initiatives related to People Technology and drive efficiency
  • Perform analysis & research to identify process updates to optimize efficiencies; partner with the business operations/functional owners to implement changes
  • Present system functionality & recommendations to HR & Business leaders
  • Manage the design, configuration, testing, deployment & change management of Workday processes
  • Manage large scale data updates through EIBs and work through any associated errors preventing successful completion
  • Provide training & guidance to cross-functional teams on new HRIS functionality
  • Collaborate with other Workday functional areas including reporting & analytics
  • Manage & support Workday bi-annual releases & adoption item implementations
  • Serve as point-of-contact for special projects related to Workday business processes & updates. Manage configuration, testing & implementation for launch of new functionality as well as coordinate potential communication for the update
  • Provide day-to-day support on standard business processes performed within People Technology systems for People team and business managers

Required Experience:

  • Experience in HRIS administration, specifically Workday, in a global organization
  • Learning and Absence configuration experience with Workday
  • Experience/exposure to HCM, Talent, Recruiting and/or Compensation is a plus
  • Experience consulting with business leaders
  • HR business process experience (drafting, testing & implementing full processes)
  • Experience in ticket management with Service Now is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to concentrate & demonstrate a capacity for learning new technologies quickly
  • Experience contributing to solution design activities
