What will you contribute?

Finastra is seeking an experienced Sales Leader to manage a high-performing sales team focused on a select U.S. territory. This leader will oversee both Account Executives, who manage and grow existing client relationships, and Sales Executives, who drive new logo acquisition. The team is responsible for selling Finastra's market-leading Lending and Mortgage solutions, including LaserPro and Mortgagebot, to banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions.

This is a strategic leadership role with direct impact on revenue, market penetration, and customer success across the territory.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a hybrid sales team focused on retention, expansion, and acquisition.
  • Drive team quota attainment and individual performance through proactive pipeline management and deal coaching.
  • Participate in a hands on approach for strategic opportunities, and assist to close business and to achieve or exceed assigned bookings/quota objectives.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned to Finastra's go-to-market priorities.
  • Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth across the Lending and Mortgage product portfolio.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Solution Consulting, and Client Services to deliver client value and accelerate deals.
  • Serve as escalation point or coordinator for implementation, customer service, and product issues.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Champion a high-performance, customer-first culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or fintech.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to exceed sales targets and drive client success.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. banking and credit union market, especially in Lending and Mortgage operations.
  • Familiarity with Finastra's solutions (e.g., LaserPro, Mortgagebot) or similar platforms preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience in forecasting, reporting, and pipeline analysis.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed to support team and client engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
