Vice President, Operations - Cash Solutions

As a senior leader in the Cash Solutions domain, you will bring deep operational expertise and strategic leadership to oversee and optimize the vendor and other operational dimensions of our products and capabilities. Your role will focus on coordinating, measuring, and prioritizing operational initiatives to ensure efficiency, reduce risk and fraud, and align with enterprise-wide operational goals.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including product, treasury, risk, and fraud-to support the delivery of secure, customer-centric solutions. This role also includes oversight of vendor management and operational services across the domain which aims to develop banking products and payment capabilities that simply and securely solve the financial needs of our customers every day and in the moments that matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage and support operational aspects across the Cash Solutions domain in partnership with internal business and product leaders, risk, and vendor teams.
  • Establish and maintain centralized processes for operational needs and cross-organizational collaboration and manage the over 30 banks and external financial technology providers
  • Drive operational efficiency and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of initiatives.
  • Define and track performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee due diligence investigations (DDI) for Tier 1 vendors, vendor technical reviews (VTRs) & financial health assessment (FHA) for external vendors including banks and financial technology providers ranging from the largest banks in the U.S. to Fiserv and supporting Fintechs.
  • Identify and remove operational impediments while evaluating progress and performance for the vendors across Cash Solutions domain.
  • Translate strategic business goals into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations and vendor management team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and results.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to continuously enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Finance, Risk, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12-15+ years of professional experience, including 5-10 years in Financial Services.
  • Proven ability to align operational execution with strategic business goals with both internal stakeholders and external vendor partners
  • Strong understanding of consumer financial strategies and solutions.
  • Proficiency in program and project management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong consulting and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in quarterly planning, retrospectives, and release planning cycles.
