The Role

Fidelity Digital Asset Management (FDAM) is seeking an experienced individual to lead Investment Operations. Reporting to the Head of Investment Services of FDAM, the Vice President, Investment Operations will collaborate closely with the FDAM's leadership team to translate FDAM's mission and vision into an organization-wide capability-building investment operation initiatives. Additionally, this role will:

  • Implement and manage investment operational processes across Fidelity Digital Asset Management.
  • Establish, maintain, and oversee Fidelity's Digital Asset Management investment operations team.
  • Orchestrate strategic and investment operational plan development
  • Provide investment operations subject matter expertise and value-added services to business development staff, clients and prospects where required.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of critical business risks and create effective controls surrounding the operational environment to ensure an effective risk framework to mitigate losses.
  • Ensure tasks and processes are performed with urgency and results delivered in a collaborative, client-centric manner. Drive technical and operational readiness to meet emerging challenges from business partners and their clients.
  • Build and lead a world-class Investment Operations team with deep expertise in digital operational platforms and funds.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or demonstrable equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience of business operations leadership experience. Additional experience within top-tier management consultancies preferred.
  • 5+ Digital/Crypto industry experience in areas such as tokenization, staking, and digital fund launches.
  • Prior evidence of successfully building, scaling, and managing business operations teams in the digital/crypto space
  • Excellent project management skills and evidence of having successfully led cross-functional teams.
  • The individual should have a track record of leading change and transformation and have demonstrated experience in large-scale project execution.
  • Ability and desire to take on broad operational assignments as part of future development.
  • Experience collaborating with and presenting to senior executive audiences.
  • Bring a deep understanding of the digital asset management industry and relevant adjacencies; provide thorough competitive and market information, analytics, and insights to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Expertise in digesting complex data and presenting findings in a clear manner that simplifies decision making for leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with company leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance 'big picture thinking' with attention to small details.
  • Superior operational and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations.

The Team

Fidelity Digital Asset Management [FDAM] is building an investment platform offering digital asset products and services designed to meet the growing needs of Fidelity's retail customers and intermediary and institutional clients.

The base salary range for this position is $124,000-$262,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
