The Role
The Electronic Trading Consultant will be responsible for partnering with their clients through consultative services to help optimize their workflows and achieve best execution. You will work closely with various sales and trading counterparts in the Institutional Product Group organization in an effort to drive electronic revenue. Teamwork, communication and organization skills are essential for a successful candidate. In addition to account management responsibilities, the Electronic Trading Consultant will contribute to the product development effort by providing feedback from customer and business partner interactions resulting in enhancements to the Electronic Brokerage Services (EBS) platform.

The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree required, graduate degree a plus.
- 8-10+ years of experience in equities electronic trading sales and/or coverage, with a proven track record of revenue generation.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. equity liquidity landscape, including alternative trading systems (ATS), exchange market microstructure, algorithmic trading, and direct market access (DMA) trends.
- FINRA Series 7 & Series 63 required; Series 55 preferred.

- Strong knowledge of equity market structure, as well as securities industry rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in using data to evaluate trade cost analysis (TCA) and execution quality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven team player with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain deep client relationships, leveraging an existing network to drive platform growth and client engagement.
The Value You Deliver
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic consultation across all aspects of their trading needs, including automation, TCA, OMS implementation, and market structure.
- Collaborate with quants, head traders, and portfolio managers to deliver workflow strategies that optimize trading desk performance.
- Analyze and understand client workflows to provide tailored advice and increase operational efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert on electronic trading and Fidelity Service Bureau offerings.
- Drive revenue growth through deep client relationships, high-quality execution service, and the delivery of customized trading and execution solutions aligned with client objectives.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
