Ability to lead as an accomplished senior data & cloud technology leader to lead our Customer Data & Marketing Technology (CDMT) team.
The Skills that are key to this role
- Leadership skills to architect and design data consumption capabilities on-premises and in the cloud.
- Ability to collaborate in a matrixed organisation and partner with business domain leads, data scientists, product owners, enterprise architects and other functional leads to deliver extraordinary data & marketing platform solutions.
- Expertise in Cloud data services ecosystem such as ODS, streaming products, Data Lake, advanced analytics technologies, BI reporting and analytics.
- Solid skills to inspire confidence, create executive presentations and guide strategic discussions with senior management.
- Superb communication skills and the ability to engage with both a technical and non-technical audience at various levels of the organization
- Willingness to partner effectively with technology business partners across the firm.

The Expertise we are looking for
Education and Experience
- 20+ years of Data Engineering & Marketing Technology, design and development delivery experience across Analytical (OLAP) & Transactional (OLTP) platforms. Min 5+ years of Cloud Data experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
- Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Financial services experience, preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Data & Marketing domain technology expertise along with experience in architecting, designing and building highly scalable data & marketing platform solutions.
- Good background in building interactive, user-friendly, visualizations displaying large, complex data sets, with experience of applying Data Consumption products such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Led large engineering teams (100+) focused on delivery of the product capabilities and features. Shown expertise in nurturing & handling engineering leaders
- Experienced in integrating Customer Data or Marketing Orchestration capabilities with complementary Marketing Technology, Digital or Enterprise Data capabilities
- Experience in understanding customers, tailoring promotions, automating processes, and analyzing data to help improve marketing campaign performance/outcomes
- Good knowledge and experience in major data areas such as DataOps, Data quality & Governance, Data management, Database performance/cost optimization.
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud data services, Cloud storage services
- Shown experience track record in Relational, Cloud and Data Warehouse technologies and in-memory databases.
- Ability to evaluate, prototype and recommend emerging Cloud data visualization and analytics technologies and platforms from open source or vendors.
- Strong ability to analyze cost and performance in a data consumption solution or pattern and recommend improvement for optimization.
