The Role

The Team Lead, Alternative Investments ensures client satisfaction, associate engagement, and operational efficiency by demonstrating technical expertise, flexibility, and support to a team of 8+ associates within the Alternative Investments organization. You will support management and your team in an end-to-end operations business that supports over $70B in customer assets. It will require 50% oversight of an operational team and 50% focus on processing a variety of data entry transactions and maintenance requests. The role also requires collaboration and partnership with other Fidelity organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervising the day-to-day workflow and processing to meet department cycle time, quality, and productivity standards. Assist with client requests/ volumes as needed.
• Analyze, research, and resolve discrepancies in accordance with departmental SLAs to minimize risk to the company.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed and paperwork requirements are met to minimize risk.

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to advance the business towards a premier digital experience.

• Partner across the organization and with other Fidelity business partners, significantly enhancing the customer experience.
• Assist management with one-on-one coaching, training, and development of the team members by sharing knowledge and experiences; challenge and engage associates.
• Assist in managing a training plan team based on knowledge gaps and business needs.
• Facilitate team meetings; communicate business policy and procedure updates.

The Team

Within the Operations & Services Group (OSG) business unit, Alternative Investment (AI) is a highly niche investment vehicle that is tailored to sophisticated, high net-worth investors and are not traded on any public market. Our AI group services all Fidelity lines of business and handles end-to-end operations from onboarding of assets, all transactions, reconciliation, and servicing requests. The AI Team Lead navigates these processes and ensure the ultimate client experience for our clients.
