Require a Sr. Systems Services and Support Engineer for Production Excellence squad within Fidelity's Brokerage Technology team. The team builds and modernizes applications to support domestic and international lending. The squad member will work on production stability initiatives including monitoring, scalability, capacity, performance of distributed applications. They will also perform incident response and participate in technology life-cycle management initiatives.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical
- Ability to troubleshoot issues at the server level to assess source of issue
- Monitor the logs using Datadog and Grafana visualization tools
- Hands on experience in the technology stack - Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, Angular/Bootstrap
- Experience in developing PowerBI dashboards
- Windows and Linux OS (shell scripting)
- DevOps, Monitoring, and cloud computing skills
- Hands-on experience in using RESTful Web Services with Java technologies.
- Solid experience understanding architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment.
- Assist with root cause analysis process and provide feedback
- Establish SLA/SLO/SLIs with error budget and monitor
- Assist on Technology Lifecyle Management (TLM) Top Initiatives reporting and collaboration
- Exposure to messaging or and streaming frameworks including Kafka, * MQ, JMS.
- Hands on experience in practicing test automation at various levels of testing (unit, component, integration, and functional tests).
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting is an advantage
- Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, cloud deployment tools is highly preferred
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy
- Basic knowledge of AWS features and components

- Strong fundamentals in computer science
- Experience in Unix Shell scripting
- Experience in developing reports in DAX/PowerBI
- Debugging skills
- 3+ years of experience in information technology
- Financial services experience preferred
