We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Risk Workstation Product Area to aid in the development of high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team to modernize this critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risks.
The Expertise We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience working with Agile teams and a detailed understanding of Agile SCRUM principals (business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing and end user certification.
- Scrum Master or Project Management with Technology & Data focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into business and systems analysis, and prioritizing experience.
- Ability to grasp sophisticated concepts and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria.
- Proven focus on execution and an ability to identify, communicate and remove impediments.
- Capable to lead, influence and empower colleagues (local and global) without formal authority.
- Ability to establish and maintain multi-functional relationships across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on approach.
- You have strong communication skills to drive and influence meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS would is a plus)
- Experience with Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Background in brokerage trading applications/systems a plus

- UML/Design/Systems design
- Familiar with Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and Spring.
- Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON.
- Innovative mindset to contribute and deliver new ideas and solutions.
- Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and data mining skills.
- Exposure to Oracle, and ability to write simple SQL queries.
- Financial services knowledge a plus
- You will ensure the end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories meets the needs and expectations of our business partners
