Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for quality assurance and building creative digital solutions and capabilities for our Plynk mobile app. We ensure investing is inclusive for all audiences by removing barriers that prevent participation! The role is a mix of testing with some development, you will be an ideal candidate if you have both QA quality and proficient software development skills.

The Expertise You Have

• BS or above in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years' experience and/or knowledge of both QA Engineering and Software Development
• Working experience in an Agile environment with a startup culture
• Knowledge of financial services brokerage operations, services and technology systems preferred

• Experience and/or knowledge of both QA Engineering and Software Development
• Test/Automation (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or any similar framework)
• Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent)
• Experience with mobile development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) Client-Side development - Angular, NgRx, CSS, HTML
• Knowledge of web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring Framework with integrating with APIs and RESTful web services
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and XCode Server and deploying applications in a DevOps environment
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and practices
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools; DataDog, Splunk, etc. for analysis, observability, and alerting

• Participate in refinement of User Stories, QA related tasks and test cases, and functional automation
• Log defects/issues and work with team members to ensure resolution
• Participate in production release deployment verification on a regular cadence
• Participate in defect triage
• Defining and developing mobile applications for our Digital Brokerage Services
• Mentorship of junior team members and encouraging a culture of continuous learning
