The Role
Members of this group acquire an essential understanding of the financial services industry. These associates work in Fidelity's Operations and Services Group (OSG), supporting our major lines of business including Personal Investing, Fidelity Institutional, and National Financial Services. You will work closely with contra firms, including bank and insurance companies and brokerage firms, to determine the statuses of incoming transfers. The team is the voice of the customer and is dedicated to facilitating and completing the transfers with the highest level of quality and excellence. Utilizing various on-line tools and reference materials, you will handle the accurate and timely processing of client requests. You will have opportunities to build working relationships with internal business partners. Overall you will be tasked with:

- Delivering highly efficient transaction processing
- Establishing relationships with numerous teams within Fidelity to service our clients while supporting divisional business needs and maintaining a "client first" mentality

The core areas of focus for our Senior Reps include:
- Account Re-Registration Services (ARS): re-registration for client's experiencing life events.
- Transfer of Assets: facilitating movement of assets into Fidelity accounts by analyzing account details and resolving issues for complex transactions.
- Mutual Fund Reconciliation: Daily recon of non-Fidelity mutual fund accounts and FDIC Insured Sweep products. Understanding of FINRA and SEC regulatory requirements such as SEC Rule 15c3-1, 15c3-3 needed and can be trained on. These accounts may include mutual fund and brokerage accounts, as well as retirement and non-retirement accounts for Retail, Correspondent, and Advisor Clients.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- High school diploma (college degree preferred) and/or 2 years of work-related experience
- One or more years customer service and processing experience recommended
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Brokerage operations or financial services experience preferred
- Deliver superior service to all our clients by processing their requests in an accurate and timely manner
- Analytical skills will ensure satisfactory problem resolution for our clients and deliver solutions to complex challenges
- Grow and succeed through feedback and instruction
- Great organization and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication will assist business partners and customers when requests are not in good order
- Take the initiative to learn new functions and engage in inter-departmental training
- Identify opportunities to develop new procedures on an ongoing basis to improve the documentation process
- Use multiple systems to analyze transactions
- Collaborate to develop an excellent work environment

The goal of Fidelity's Operation and Services Group is to deliver superior service to our customers within a highly efficient transaction processing organization. OSG operates out of sites across the US and Ireland and supports Personal Investing, Institutional, Workplace and Fidelity Fund Direct businesses. OSG is also Fidelity's primary clearing and custody-broker dealer. OSG provides back-office support functions for National Financial Services LLC, a registered broker dealer that provides clearance, execution, communications facilities, systems support, operational services, information management and financial products to retail and institutional customers worldwide.
