Multiple Positions Available

Crafts, develops, maintains, and solves automated suites of tests to assess product quality and release readiness using Junit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured. Builds end-to-end test strategy and determines exit criteria using Jasmine, Karma, Karate, and JEST. Releases testing requirements throughout the development cycle. Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems. Incorporates and streamlines test automation into building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and quality gates. Develops, deploys, and maintains automation strategies. Mines and manipulates test data. Scripts and executes test cases. Conducts front-line triage of issues found during execution. Develops and maintains cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. Assists with planning, designing, and executing testing within a complex project.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates test plans, data, procedures, and manual and/or automated scripts.
  • Participates in formal reviews of application designs, business, and functional requirements.
  • Participates in code reviews.
  • Writes complete and accurate reports on software problems.
  • Identifies and suggests quality process improvements focused on defect prevention.
  • Creates systems and business relevant test cases.
  • Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for test execution.
  • Assists in development of in-house test tools.
  • Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for most complex projects.
  • Works with project team to establish testing entrance and exit criteria.


  • Ensures execution of project regression test tasks.
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Works directly with the user community for project definition.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
  • Recommends strategies and methods to improve test plans and test processes.
  • Analyzes and reports test status and results.
  • Identifies test issues and reports to project manager and business.
  • Defines regression tests, and production verification and validation for future projects.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (or closely related occupation) creating and maintaining automation and manual testing solutions across distributed, cloud, and database components in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (or closely related occupation) creating and maintaining automation and manual testing solutions across distributed, cloud, and database components in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") creating and maintaining testing framework solutions leveraging Serenity Behavior Driven Development (BDD), TestNG, Gradle/Maven, Page Object Model and Page Factory.


  • DE creating and maintaining automated testing solutions using Auto IT, Mabl, Protractor, Selenium Webdriver, Rest Assured, and Serenity BDD Cucumber frameworks.
  • DE integrating automation frameworks build tools (Maven) and test management solutions (Xray) to track testing results.
  • DE testing and validating information hosted on Mainframe and Oracle based databases using Micro Focus Rumba and Oracle SQL Developer.
