The Role

The Senior Manager, Personalized Planning & Advice (PP&A) is responsible for performing data analysis to identify trends and opportunities to make platform and process improvements and reduce operational risk across the PP&A product area. Your problem solving and technical skills along with ability to synthesize findings, developing practical and realistic recommendations, and communicate results will help you excel at this position. The role blends expertise in data and analytics with a passion for delivering results in order to advocate for the participant and plan sponsor experiences.

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities including synthesizing findings and developing practical and realistic recommendations
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to discuss and present ideas to colleagues and business partners to influence decision making
  • Strong project management skills with ability to take ownership of a business issue, lead triage and resolution discussions with a sense of urgency, communicate client and participant impact to Legal, Risk, Compliance and appropriate business partners, and see resolution of issue through to completion
  • Experience with Workplace Investing systems and platforms preferred including FPRS, WPDT, XTRAC, Plan Sponsor Webstation and Focuspoint
  • Expertise with industry-leading analytics approaches and tools (e.g., Snowflake, SQL, Tableau) to transform data into impactful insights
  • Experience building visualizations to drive strategic business decision making, and empower teams with self-service analytics
  • Experience in managed accounts valued
  • Ability to identify trends and opportunities allowing the team to make platform improvements and reduce operational risk
  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative and achieve strong results in an environment where collaboration is required
  • Passionate about the strategic use of data to drive business results
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a passion for learning new skills and capabilities
  • Use data to identify trends and opportunities to make platform and process improvements and reduce operational risk
  • Reduce overall risk for the product by recognizing areas of exposure and recommending and implementing controls to mitigate them
  • Triage, analyze, and resolve PP&A issues and service recoveries
  • Work with squads and production support functions to drive root cause analysis and mitigate production issues
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions for business problems

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
