The Role
This role is an incredible opportunity to gain exposure to our overall WI business model, products, clients, and strategy. The Senior Manager of Planning, WI Sales and Client Engagement Group (CEG), will directly support the WI Sales team, including our business planning process, executive management routines, and data-decision support of key business, product, and client challenges. The role will also involve supporting our broader WI CEG, including Relationship Management, Marketing, and Consulting. Reporting to the VP of Planning, WI Sales, this individual will be a key member of the team working across CEG, helping leaders to make effective and informed business decisions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA degree or equivalent degree or experience is preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in business management, consulting, strategy, planning, or finance.
- Demonstrated record of interest, curiosity, and progression in the financial services, retirement and/or healthcare benefits industry, customers, and products and services.
- You are experienced with data and quantitative analysis (primarily Excel based) that will be used for data driven decision support.
- You have experience translating the above, advanced analytics and data into a narrative that will help inform, influence, and enable leaders to make better decisions through Power Point, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- You have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
- You are comfortable initiating interaction with senior leaders to help them solve problems, request clarification, seek guidance, and deliver researched based conclusions.
- You are organized, proactive, and like working in complex environments with multiple partners and multiple projects / initiatives at once.
The Value You Deliver
- Support the development and effective communication of WI Sales business plans including strategic focus areas, challenges, and interdependencies.
- Support longer term strategy and service model enhancements through leveraging data and analysis.
- Support the multi-year planning process including inputs, analytics, and materials for key management updates.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with key business partners (e.g., WI Strategy & Planning, WI Finance) to develop roadmaps and prioritization of initiatives to meet goals.
- Support WI Sales planned / ad hoc management routines and initiatives (e.g., leadership planning meetings, QBRs)
The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
