The position will report to the Chapter Lead of WI Analytics & Insights and will be responsible for the filling the growing demand for business intelligence across WI.

We are looking for an analytics professional to be a creative and collaborative team member, helping analyze and develop data driven initiatives. As an indispensable member of the Workplace Investing Data Analytics & Insights Chapter, you'll be embedded within a team focused on Personalized Planning & Advice analytics. The team provides strategic insight into topics such as managed account value, acquisition and retention insights and client reporting. This work is critical to helping Workplace Investing (WI) and Fidelity strive to scale its growth and fully leverage new and existing capabilities.

You will work on a wide array of initiatives that cover both product analytics and client analytics and will focus on delivering reports, dashboards, ad hoc analyses and strategic insights.

This is an opportunity to provide your insights and enable WI to make the data-driven decisions required to meet their strategic objectives.

The Expertise and Skills We're Looking For

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 6+ years of experience generating analytical insights to drive business actions
  • In depth knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques including: profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, campaign measurement and reporting
  • Experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx, BRIO)
  • Strong in MS Office Package usage skill especially MS Excel. Very strong spreadsheet and relational database skills
  • You have a passion for leveraging data to drive better business decision-making through statistical and technological techniques
  • You have a deep understanding of analytical techniques and how they can be applied to address particular problem characteristics
  • You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks and opportunity assessment
  • You have a working knowledge of analytic technologies (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics
  • You have the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change
  • You strive to better communicate data through data visualization and storytelling
  • Developing and delivering analytical data and insights to solve business problems
  • You enable Workplace Investing to make objective, informed decisions
  • You provide opportunities for innovation through analytics capabilities and implementation of new technologies
  • Supporting democratization of data among business partners and crafting self-serve data visualization tools that enable business decision making
  • Continuously improving data analytics and insights capabilities and spreading that knowledge and expertise throughout the organization

Workplace Investing Data and Analytics and Insights is the analytics discipline responsible for developing and deploying analytic solutions to drive actionable intelligence, transformative insights, automation, and effective control in support of Workplace Investments business units, clients, and Fidelity.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
