Job Description:

The Role

As a member of the Fidelity Digital Assets, LLC ('FDA') Compliance team, this role serves as an informed and trusted business partner who promotes an environment of ethical conduct and dedication to compliance, regulatory, and legal obligations. This role on the Compliance Governance and Operations Team will support compliance oversight of FDA, collaborating closely with many teams within FDA and across the Fidelity organization, such as Wealth & Brokerage, Fidelity Institutional, and Workplace Investing.

This role requires you to understand and communicate the strategic vision and compliance roadmap for FDA. Our ideal candidate displays the ability to lead and collaborate with teams across FDA including AML, Risk, Records Management, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Programs. This role will support the building and ongoing management of compliance risk assessments, programs that map and test compliance and regulatory-specific controls, and management reporting systems to highlight compliance status and raise critical issues to senior leadership.

Activities include:

• Leading the process to identify potential gaps in controls and collaborating on remediation plans.

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive compliance policies and procedures that align with both regulatory obligations and organizational objectives.

• Supporting business functions identify regulatory-necessary policies and track that they are being efficiently managed.

• Assisting Regulatory Management team in responding to relevant regulatory matters and building positive relationships with regulators.

• Remaining up-to-date on regulatory changes and landscape, standard methodologies, and new development in the industry.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

This is a dynamic role, and we are looking for someone who is capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, complex regulatory environment. An ideal candidate has experience developing and leading teams and strong people management skills, has a track record analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• 6+ years of combined experience in Compliance, Risk, and Legal

• 4-year college degree required; Masters, MBA, or JD is a plus

• Strong understanding of money service business regulation including MTL, Regulation E, UDAAP, and AML/BSA; understanding of the current regulatory landscape for crypto a plus

• Able to articulate well and influence key decision makers through a combination of knowledge, reasoning, and relationships

• Capable of balancing work independently and as part of a close-knit team

The Team

We are a rapidly growing team of compliance professionals dedicated to supporting the company and customers through adherence to regulatory requirements. Our team reports to the Chief Compliance Officer for Fidelity Digital Assets, a full-service, enterprise grade platform for securing, trading, and supporting investments in digital assets.
