Senior Cloud Software Engineer - Container Platforms

As a Senior Cloud Engineer in our Container Management Platforms area, you will work within a diverse team comprised of passionate technologists who believe in the power of innovation and constant collaboration. We are passionate about opensource contribution, sharing our expertise and knowledge with the engineering community while adopting a continuous learning approach support by a dedicated learning day each week.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Must have proficiency and experience building software applications in GoLang or Python.
- Experience with building RESTful APIs
- Experience with Angular UI applications
- Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
- Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts.
- Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
- Hands on experience building scalable cloud applications.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
- Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
- Passion for the DevOps culture.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join the Container Management Platform team working in Fidelity Architecture and Engineering, who are responsible for enabling the next generation streaming platforms across Fidelity. We excel in the construction of high quality, secure and scalable cloud platforms using industry-leading engineering principles and practices. We are a global team which has a passion for open source and continuous learning while pursuing engineering excellence in the cloud in a collaborative, open and transparent culture.
