Senior Business Systems Analyst, Customer Solutions

The Role
Bring your passion for leading work across organizational lines, building new product capabilities for customers and helping improve a key Fidelity managed account product offering to the Batch processing squad in the Personalized Planning & Advice for Workplace (PPA W) product area. We are looking for an established Senior Business Systems Analyst with experience in product development, business analysis and the ability to understand and thrive in a sophisticated business and systems environment. This role is pivotal in driving enhancements to our managed accounts offering, with a focus on batch systems and multi-functional collaboration across Fidelity's Workplace Investing (WI) and Retail domains.
You will work with your squad in an Agile framework to provide effective partnership through communication, business and system requirements definition, partner management, program management and the ability to collaborate across our Workplace and Retail business and technology teams in the broader planning & advice ecosystem. Your work will directly impact the experience of plan sponsors and participants by enabling scalable, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.
You will collaborate across WI, Wealth business teams, technology teams and Strategic Advisors (SAI) product and technology applying your expertise in Agile and a passion for learning and contributing to the latest platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of business systems and batch processes to identify user needs and document requirements.
- Translate business requirements into system specifications and recommend enhancements to batch functionality.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain Agile artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
- Facilitate planning, design, and problem-solving sessions across teams.
- Build and implement test scenarios to validate solution effectiveness and business value.
- Present findings and recommendations to all levels of management.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, policies, and procedures.
- Support the rollout of a unified managed accounts offering by integrating investment capabilities and batch deployment strategies.

Expertise and Skills You Have
- 6+ years of experience in business and systems analysis, including Agile methodologies, data analysis, batch application development, data mapping, flowcharts, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
- Demonstrate an ability to lead complex analysis and translate highly technical and non-technical requirements.
- Solid focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience with database queries and general data architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and UML sequencing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience encouraged.
- Superb communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
- Synthesizing sophisticated data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights and themes in a simple/clear way.
- Think strategically - understand customer, business partner needs and prior lessons to advise strategy direction and ongoing decision making.
- Good business judgment - understands and focuses efforts on key business priorities, thinks holistically, uses business partners and focuses on return on investment.
The Team
WI Customer Solutions provides the WI Agile organization with business analysts. The Customer Solutions team is responsible for helping the business achieve results. Our role is to turn business objectives into useful plans and solutions that deliver outstanding customer value.
The PP&A Batch Squad is aligned to the PPAW Managed Solutions Foundation and Capabilities group responsible for large and systemic processing and review of participants eligible for and enrolled in Fidelity's workplace managed account products. The squad systematically processes over 4 million interactions and facilitates the delivery of over 6 million pieces of participant communications annually.
Personalized Planning & Advice at Work (PP&A) is the 3rd largest and fastest-growing workplace managed account offering in the industry and is a key product area in the Workplace Investing growth strategy.
