Product Manager, Data Aggregation

The Role

Fidelity is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to support our Data Aggregation team. In tight partnership with the Engineering Lead for Data Aggregation - Data Out, this role will be responsible for working across the enterprise as well as numerous external partners to identify and prioritize strategic data needs and KPIs and deliver the value roadmap to power evolving customer experiences across the enterprise. This role will partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Analytics, and other functional areas as needed. In partnership with the Engineering Lead, the Product Manager will maintain a holistic view of the product, understand and evolve the use cases in the ecosystem and promote its adoption across the enterprise.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelors in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in full life cycle delivery/management of products in Agile environments; with a track record of innovation and bringing cloud solutions to market.
  • Architectural understanding of large-scale data platforms, cloud systems, APIs, events, and integrations with internal and external systems; values learning the intricacies of the platform's functionality and data flows as a foundational input to strategic decision-making and prioritization.
  • Open Banking/Open Finance eco-system expertise is a plus, including the applicable standards, regulations, and partnerships.
  • Self-starter, problem solver, strong collaborator, and influencer; capable of driving significant decisions and impactful results with limited guidance.
  • Effective communicator and relationship manager - can organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to engage with and coach the development of intricate analysis to enable solution design and define requirements; ability to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data sources and platforms is a plus.

The Team

Data Aggregation team provides our end investors with an API driven, client consented, flow that allows them to securely share their data with external financial aggregators. Our end investors have expressed an interest in using FinTech firms like Mortgage application services, Personal Financial Management tools and cash movement apps. These tools have become critical to our end investors in their day to day lives, our solution empowers them to use the tools that are most important to them safely and securely.
