Job Title: Principal - Software Engineering

Build & support Quant product platform to support Asset Management's Quantitative Research and Investment Technology needs. If you have a passion for working using multiple new technologies on the cloud, this might be the right opportunity for you!

We are seeking a Principle Software Engineer who has strong technical background to work with a robust team which supports the Portfolio Construction Application team.

The Purpose of Your Role

• You have to Demonstrates software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment, Acceptance Test Driven Development
• You have domain expertise for the functional and technical areas of focus. Shows eagerness to broaden understanding and knowledge of domain and technology
• You have practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase efficiency
• You are Highly engaged with the team and a good teammate
• You mentor and guide team on technology and bring the best out of the team mates

• You are proficient in AWS and cloud computing concepts.
• You are proficient in technologies like Java 1.8 or JAVA 11 higher, Python, Spring framework, REST, Angular, Oracle SQL, Git, Maven/Jenkins
• Strong exposure to Event driven architecture - Kafka and other data streams
• You are current with the newest technology trends in the industry
• You understand and apply fundamental design principles behind a scalable, low latency, high throughput distributed application
• You know usage of design patterns and their application
• You have good understanding of Asset management business domain will be an advantage
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have continuous out-of-the-box assessment of status-quo and opportunities for improvement
• You are self-motivated with proven ability to effectively work with diverse personalities in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• You have an innovative mindset

• 10+ years of industry experience
