The Role
Fidelity Investments is looking for a front-end software engineer, who is passionate about their craft and designing clean solutions to help our financial professional users make intelligent decisions.
The Expertise We are Looking For
- 10-15 years hands-on experience as front-end software engineer using modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular.
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related fields).
- Experience developing micro UIs and integrating with main UI and strong familiarity with Monorepo concepts.
- Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, AgGrid, Highcharts, Bootstrap, momentjs, sockjs, stomp
- REST API
- NX Workspaces or other Monorepo framework
- Web Components, Component Architecture
- GIT, Jenkins (Or similar Build Tooling, e.g., Circle CI, GitHub), Node.js
- Experience on agile development and Jira with CI/CD
- Managing shared libraries, working with design systems
- Experienced in transforming Figma (or equivalent) designs to working functional components
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus
- Possess robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions.
- Thoughtful with long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Able to learn quickly, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The Team
The Prime Brokerage Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking 'Software Engineer' to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable custody business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). This role will involve partner & stakeholder engagement, design, release support and production support. In this role, you will be an integral part of the prime brokerage team where you'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment.
The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
