The Team
Fidelity's Workplace Investing Reporting and Analytics chapter is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to play a key role in building a Power BI and snowflake-based reporting application.
Team is responsible for building reports in Power BI with Snowflake as the source of data for the reports. It will also develop lot of custom capabilities on AWS
Team needs to work closely with the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) team for data acquisition for the reports and with the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) team to migrate the OAS based reports to Power BI.
This person will be self-driven and work with technical partners, and assist developers and testers as needed. The role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and 14+ years' experience.
- Extensive experience in Snowflake and AWS (ideally AWS certified).
- Extensive experience in Python.
- Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis in a data warehouse environment.
- Experience in Airflow, Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica/ETL is required.
- Experience in Power BI or OAS is preferred.
- Experience in delivering DaaS (Data as a Service) is preferred.
- Functional/Domain experience of workplace investment plans such as 401k retirement plans is preferred.
