The Purpose of This Role

As Product Manager - FCAT, you will be part of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technologies (FCAT) team that focuses on coming up with innovative solutions in the financial services domain aimed at driving enhanced value for our end customers.

The Expertise You Have

  • Working experience and strong domain knowledge in one or more of the following business functions - Capital Markets, Asset Management, Brokerage Functions and Trading


  • Broad business knowledge of Fidelity's diverse offerings across Personal Investing, Workplace Services and Fidelity Institutional and other businesses

  • Strong knowledge of Order Management, Trade Processing, Fractional Trading, Regulatory Reporting


  • Expertise in business research and product management including data analysis, requirement gathering and use case development


  • Demonstrated ability to translate business vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog


  • Experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred


  • Ability to think broadly - while the focus may be on a specific product line - you possess the ability to think of the customer's total relationship with Fidelity


  • Maturity to work across business units and senior leaders to evolve roadmaps and prioritization of product features


  • Demonstrated dedication to cross-functional collaboration in Agile, client-centric, dynamic environment with a true passion for "test and learn"

The Value You Deliver

  • Ability to manage a set of enterprise initiatives including traditional Brokerage services & Crypto Trading


  • Managing expectations with cross-functional and enterprise leadership teams - including business research, finance, legal and technology.


  • Delivery responsibility of various initiatives within Green Meadows Order Management


  • Cross BU collaboration at Senior levels - Product Area leader level


  • Ability to synthesize requirements and business needs into platform features


  • Assist team with prioritizing features, backlog and oversight of the JIRA board


  • Staying close to the customer, and understanding customer needs


  • Synthesizing complex data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights and themes in a simple/clear way


  • Having a strong affinity for business analysis, secondary research, and operational improvement work

The Skills You Bring

Your ability to deliver customer value and business results on the squad by:

  • Complete end-to-end product management


  • Experience and Insights into financial products, their setup, attributes, lifecycle and customer base


  • Solid experience with analysis, agile project management


  • Cross product area understanding of brokerage and crypto domains


  • Pulling information together across a diverse set of individuals and teams, and articulating the full story across multiple streams of work


  • Positive relationship, communications, and presentation skills


  • Motivated individual with ability to think, work, multi-task, influence, act independently, and maintains a positive can-do attitude

Your knowledge as a subject matter expert in the following areas:

  • Application of Financial Services, Brokerage Operations & Trade Processing to address client's needs, wants and preferences


  • Strong knowledge of Order management & Regulatory Reporting


  • Business insight, along with your strategic and analytical skills that allows you to make decisions and build stories based on both hard and soft data


  • Active participation in defining requirements and writing stories to help inform product strategy, enhancements, and process improvements


  • Experience working in Agile environment and with Agile methodology

Your ability to identify client needs and wants by:

  • Participating in the prioritization of the team work (in partnership with Technology leaders& Business operations leaders) to deliver customer value based on an understanding of business subject matter areas and client needs


  • Possessing strong skills in JIRA, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
