The Role
As a Pricing & Billing Squad Lead, you will blend financial industry expertise with a desire for delivering innovative operational and technical solutions on internally facing applications. In an agile manner, working with your technology and business partners, you will deliver on the most critical strategies by improving your product's features. These new features will improve business results & customer approval.
You will ensure alignment on the 'what' and 'when' work is to be performed through planning and prioritization of a squad backlog. You will have a clarity on the value of each item on your backlog and can socialize or recommend prioritization changes based on the right balance of quality, cost, and timelines. You will present the work in clear and succinct methods, ultimately in the form of stories and acceptance criteria, that will enable squad members to deliver predictable high-quality results. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role while anticipating future business partner needs.

The Experience & Skills You Bring
- 8+ years of financial industry and/or technology experience supporting fund operations.
- Experience delivering multidimensional technical projects
- Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization
- Agile experience preferred
- Ability to grasp groundbreaking business requirements and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
- Lead, influence, and empower colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high performing teams
- Experience with security valuation and/or billing and expense processing preferred
- Skilled with crafting and presenting visual artifacts like workflows (business or IT) & delivery roadmaps
- Skilled at crafting and leading executive level summaries
- Experience running user facing UI features is a plus

The Team
The NAV Pricing & Billing product area exists to support internally developed Valuation, Billing and Expense platforms. On the Pricing team, our associates' support of tools for our operations teams to analyze market and vendor security pricing is required to deliver accurate Fund NAVs (Net Asset Value). On the Billing and Expense team, our associates' supports mutual fund expense accruals with related invoice and payment management. These both require significant integration from upstream data providers and downstream consumers inside and outside of the Fidelity eco-system.
