Job Description:

Critical Events Management - Event & Incident Manager

The Event & Incident Manager role is responsible for all aspects of event analysis including investigation, following the protocol for incident management, documenting an incident and event correlation while working with all business partners to ensure timely response and detailed communication and documentation.

The Expertise And Skills You Have

  • BA/BS degree in Business/IT or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in business continuity, disaster recovery and/or risk management subject area
  • Preferred Certifications: CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Professional)
  • Works with a sense of urgency responding to incidents and following processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works independently while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate well within the team and with business partners

The Team

Critical Events Management is responsible for setting polices, providing mentorship, oversight, and supporting the demonstration of resiliency capabilities by applicable operational teams. We also collaborate across the firm to define resiliency outcomes, and provide management reporting that identify resiliency capabilities, risk exposures, gaps, and mitigation in accordance with the goals and objectives of Fidelity. In addition, we will support and enable resiliency responses during periodic test and in actual event and outage conditions that serve to protect Fidelity Associates, Clients, Assets, and Revenue while meeting defined/applicable compliance requirements.
