Job Title - Lead Systems Analyst

The Purpose of this Role

Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (Database Security) to join the Data Protection and Analytics Product Area Team supporting Enterprise Cyber Security.

Our team focuses on Data Security Posture Management for critical data assets. We strengthen our organization's data protection capabilities by enabling our business units to discover, classify, catalogue critical data and adherence to regulatory compliance by shaping our overall data security strategy.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline
  
  

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Systems, DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Experiences configuring and deploying cloud services in AWS/Azure
• Experienced in provisioning, configuring and maintaining secure and scalable container platforms in AWS/Azure (EKS/AKS etc.)
• Experienced in automating cluster creation, configuration and management using IaC tools e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform etc.
• Experienced in DevOps including CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized workload using Jenkins/Artifactory/GitHub etc.
• Collaborate with multiple technology teams to implement monitoring, logging and alerting across the infrastructure using different tools e.g.as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch etc.
• Enforce security best practices using IAM roles, RBAC, pod security policies and secrets management
• Experience with scripting knowledge (Perl, Python, etc.) is preferred
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide operational support as needed
• Self-starter who can independently learn how systems work by reading technical documentation

• You will deliver modern engineering solutions and capabilities that deepen our ability to protect critical data assets within the enterprise
• You will promote standardization and best practices by promoting IaC, version control and repeatable patterns leading to predictable and auditable platforms across the environment
• You will ensure security best practices, rehydration capabilities & disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity and reduced downtime
• You will use well established enterprise standards, processes and procedures to ensure engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product
