The Role
The Director, Talent Management, Manager Effectiveness is a key role within ETGS Human Resources passionate about crafting, implementing, and leading strategies focused on increasing manager effectiveness for direct people managers across Enterprise Technology and the broader Technology Function. As a key member of the Enterprise Technology & Global Services Talent Management team, you will partner with Sr. Tech HR Leadership, Tech Line HR, Enterprise HR and key business leaders/groups to develop and program manage various talent initiatives/programs. Key areas of focus for this role include:
- Create solutions that support ET People managers in understanding and exhibiting Fidelity's Manager Expectations; develop strategies to gain manager perspectives, identify opportunities and strengths, develop recommendations for additional support and define and measure outcomes.
- Lead cohesive planning across a cross functional team supporting HR Partner Readiness and Manager Enablement tactics (Monthly Manager Forum (Tech Leader Practices), Skill Deep Dive Offering, Manager Advisory Council, HR Partner Enablement support) Manager Assessment/Survey Enablement, Manager Goal & Rating enablement planning etc.)
- Develop strategies to increase Talent practice adoption and quality (QCI, Feedback, Inclusive Hiring Practices etc.)
- Build ongoing support for Fidelity's Performance Management & Coaching Practices (Guidelines, Goal setting, Calibration, Promotions, YE Cycle Support)
- Develop ET Psychometric Facilitation & Strategy (DiSC, HBDI etc.)
- Support HR Partners through Org Effectiveness through identification and development of best practices, tools and templates (New Leader Acceleration, Team Formation, Team Building and Organizational Health Assessments)
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 8+ years of project/program management experience with successful business impact
- Talent management or other Human resources experience strongly preferred
- Superior ability to plan, organize, prioritize and efficiently manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical orientation and curiosity, with the demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and package data into insights and stories. Able to draw insights from data.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills and the ability to actively listen actively, present ideas, synthesize feedback and formulate an action plan
- Strong collaborator, with a track record of success influencing and driving outcomes in highly matrixed environments.
- Initiative, proactivity and attention to detail to ensure high quality execution and continuous improvement
- Experience with measurement, evaluation and reporting on program impact.
- Experience building measurement to ensure effective coaching engagements.
- Experience providing on going and real time feedback, direction and coaching.

The ETGS Talent team is part of the ET HR organization and supports both Enterprise Technology and Technology wide Talent initiatives and programs focused on the supporting the growth and development of Associates, Managers and Leaders.
