Fidelity Workplace Consulting is hiring a Director of Video Production, for the C&CM practice. We're looking for someone in Boston or Chicago.

The Team

Our Communication and Change Management Practice crafts strategies, develops content and completes campaigns to engage and educate employees about changes to their benefits and in their workplace. In short, we design and deploy employee-facing communications based on the needs of each client. Our creative team of graphic designers, animators, and producers, bring our communications to life by applying branding and design thinking to our campaigns to really engage audiences!

Job Role

The Director of Video Production is responsible for growing video capabilities and revenue), as well as people management.

As the expert in video production and motion design, you'll lead conceptual development, and production of engaging multimedia content that delivers what clients want and their employees need. This position is for a creative leader with a business minded demeanor.

The ideal candidate will serve as both a technical multimedia authority and a creative storyteller, leading multiple aspects of production, including videography (camera, lighting, and audio operation), design, editing, motion graphic, and animation - for Fidelity Workplace Consulting clients.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education
  • 7-10+ years of video production experience
  • Proven experience with scripting, storyboarding, animation and post production as well as voice over and talent management
  • Navigating both the corporate environment and the vendor environment to expand and onboard our team.
  • Leading on-set handling, management of video shoots, and production equipment
  • Collaborating with a team of multi-disciplinary designers to develop cross-platform multimedia assets including motion graphic videos, animated digital ads, social graphics, short and long form videos, and eLearning design
  • Consultative selling skills - a critical component of this role will be to be the "voice of reason" during scoping and sales discussions when the subject of video is discussed
  • Ability to work closely with sales, marketing, creative and digital solutions management leadership to help allocate resources, meet project timelines, accurately estimate required resources and appropriately prioritize projects
  • Proficiency in post-production programs and workflows (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Cinema 4D).

  • Innovate and enhance our tools, technologies and business investments
  • Consult with colleagues and clients on video needs and provide recommendations for opportunities and project-specific video applications
  • Evaluate and partner with external video production vendors and specialists to partners to ensure profitable partnerships and high-quality work
  • Serve as the lead producer for select video projects
  • Provide creative direction on concepting, storyboarding, shooting, directing, and editing
  • Partner with content/writing teams/ on scripting standard methodologies, and developing innovative ways to communicate using digital channels
  • Manage Fidelity video producers; includes coaching, training, capacity management
  • Measure and report the impact of video and use findings to continuously improve cost, quality and outcomes
  • Assume responsibility for video financials, including pricing and managing profitability

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
