Job Description:
The Director position for Fraud Investigations exists within the Financial Crimes Investigations (FCI) team, providing exceptional investigative leadership and expertise in the handling of various financial fraud matters. Critical and analytical thinking are both necessary to present information that will cut through various investigative complexities and lead to accurate conclusions. The primary focus of the role is to provide leadership and set direction through collaboration with peers, the FCI investigative teams, internal and external business partners, and law enforcement.

Fraud Investigations is part of the Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) organization. FCI strives to protect Fidelity's businesses, customers, and reputation by providing effective and timely analytical and investigative services, enabling us to provide the optimal balance of risk management and customer experience.

The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Advanced Degree, MBA, JD, or CPA (Preferred)
- Strong leadership brand with experience leading teams comprised of individuals with varying skillsets and tenure
- Extensive experience conducting fraud investigations in the financial services industry
- Series 7 and 24 (Preferred)
- A solid network peer contacts in the financial industry and with law enforcement

- Strong writing, communication, organizational and management skills
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations (Bank Secrecy Act of 1970, Money Laundering Control Act of 1970, USA Patriot Act of 2001)

- Strong technical and operational skills with a vision towards process enhancements
- Ability to work under time constraints and stringent deadlines
