The Role
Director, ETF Capital Markets
The Fidelity Exchange Traded Funds business is seeking a hardworking and impactful associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on providing capital markets coverage and product management support for Fidelity's lineup of ETFs. Candidates will have the opportunity to establish and build relationships with a broad array of industry contacts across primary and secondary markets, while partnering closely with internal Fidelity teams to contribute to the execution and growth of Fidelity's ETF strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage primary and secondary market trading activities in Fidelity ETFs daily, working with market participants and internal investment, trading, and operational teams to support the product lineup
- Leverage relationships with external partners including stock exchanges, market makers, liquidity providers, and authorized participants to support the overall quality of Fidelity's ETF product franchise
- Partner closely with distribution and brokerage channels on sales opportunities to deliver relevant trading and order flow content, ETF market insights, and product analysis
- Generate unique content to key stakeholders and business units, including: market insights, industry competitive analysis, industry flows, and trading activity
- Serve as an ETF specialist for various internal and external facing engagements
- Work closely within product initiatives to help inform the design and delivery of new ETFs and execute in the launch of new ETFs

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- BA/BS degree required
- 5+ years of financial services experience with strong understanding of the ETF industry
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate with team members
- Comfortable making decisions in real-time
- Focused on owning initiatives and outcome oriented
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Series 7 and 63 Finra licenses
The Team
Fidelity's U.S. ETF Team oversees a growing business that consists of over 75 ETFs with assets under management of $115Bn, ranking Fidelity as a top 10 ETF Issuer in the U.S. Investors of Fidelity ETFs include retail, advisor, and institutional channels. The ETF product lineup provides Fidelity's clients with indexed, factor/quant-based, alternative and solution-based, and actively managed ETFs covering both equity and fixed income asset classes. The Fidelity ETF Team is responsible for growing Fidelity's ETF franchise across new product delivery and on-going management of the existing product lineup. We collaborate across many segments of the organization to accomplish this goal while serving as a key advocate for the business across the ETF industry.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
