You will use data to creatively craft methodologies to answer complex questions, aligning to key talent strategic priorities. You'll bring data to life by creating compelling visuals and storytelling to help inform and drive decision-making. As a thought leader, you will help build out the team's data analytics and insights efforts by partnering with internal customers and collaborators. You will do all of this with a creative, collaborative, and customer-obsessed mindset, possessing the ability to link business strategy to available data, and work in a way that resonates with senior leaders across the organization.
The Expertise and Skills you Bring
- Data & Analytics Experience: 10+ years in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree/certification in a relevant area (e.g., analytics, computer science) is a plus.
- Manager Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring a team of data professionals, with a strong player/coach background.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data integration/preparation tools (e.g., Alteryx). Experience with Snowflake and data lakes preferred.
- Analytical Skills Mastery: Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Business-Technical Integration: Ability to quickly understand business problems and relate them to data solutions and insights.
- Accelerated Expertise Development: Quickly assimilate subject matter expertise and apply business context to develop quality analytics and insights.
- Creative Problem Solving: Initiative to seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches and advance innovative solutions.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to tell the story and communicate effectively with presentations and dashboards. Clearly articulate complex data and insights to senior leaders and team members.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Build consultative and collaborative relationships with a strong customer service mindset. Confidence and presence to work independently and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility and Resourcefulness: Lead several priorities in a deadline-driven environment while being comfortable with ambiguity. Possess an open attitude, help the team grow, and quickly learn new technologies.
- Collaboration with Data Governance and Operational Teams: History of aligning with Data Governance and Operational teams on best practices and cataloging deployed metrics and business intelligence solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, HR partners, and platform leaders across various teams dedicated to reimagining Fidelity's talent platforms and building toward a one-HR approach. The critical work you lead will be instrumental in driving our Talent organization's objectives, streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and elevating the experiences of both candidates and associates within Fidelity.

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
