Are you a highly analytical professional with Brokerage Operations experience looking for a new opportunity? Agency Lending Corporate Actions is looking for you! With the responsibility to do what's right for our clients and firm, we take pride in giving our clients the tools they need to understand and act on Corporate Action events.

The Role

The Director, Agency Lending Corporate Actions is responsible for the accurate and timely announcement and processing of Domestic and International Corporate Action and Dividend events in a high energy and fast-paced team environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 12+ years of Brokerage Operations experience required.
  • FINRA Series 7 required; within 90 days of hire.
  • Operational experience supporting international processing required.
  • Functional experience with agency lending required.
  • Experience supporting international stock lending preferred.
  • Act as an intermediary between banks and borrowers focusing on the importance of timely and accurate communication.
  • Manage expiration date events (and relevant liabilities) along with reconciliation of new entitlements for a variety of regionally specific corporate actions.
  • Event and instruction management in proprietary Fidelity applications.
  • Act as SME for RFPs and onboarding of new clients.
  • Oversee the updating and management of all P&Ps and WSPs.
  • Accountable for key talent management processes including hiring, on boarding, goal setting, performance evaluations and other career development activities for a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, empower and communicate effectively and assertively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adjust team/departmental priorities to support changing needs.
  • Participation as a key stakeholder in prioritization of improvements and new releases of core functional systems.
  • Track record of end-to-end process improvement delivering tangible business results.

The Team

The Operations & Services Group (OSG) provides superior customer service to Fidelity's brokerage businesses through innovation, dedication, and commitment to excellence. With seven operating divisions located throughout the country, OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and information management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients. OSG performs tens of thousands of over the counter, listed equities, options, bonds, and mutual fund transactions daily. OSG has a need for a Risk Manager in the Fidelity Agency Lending space specific to Corporate Actions.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$144,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
