Do you want to join a team committed to developing and delivering an industry leading Data Risk Program which will address data risks associated with maintaining, protecting, provisioning, and governing Fidelity data assets. Corporate Risk is seeking a passionate and hardworking professional to join the team! You will provide subject matter expertise, and partner with the business unit risk groups to develop and administer a firm-wide Data Risk Program. You will personify the Fidelity Leadership Principle 'Thinks and Works across Fidelity' by collaborating with multiple stakeholders within different business units, risk, compliance and data/technology groups in order to identify and mitigate data risk while protecting the Fidelity brand/data assets.

The Data Risk Management Director
We are in the early stages of a journey to develop a Fidelity enterprise-wide Data Risk Program ensuring Fidelity is developing an industry leading Data Risk Program. This position is accountable for maintaining relationships with business partners across the enterprise, providing data risk subject matter expertise and leading the timely execution of the second line Data Risk Program.
The Expertise You Have
- Risk and/or compliance experience for large financial organizations
- Bachelors' Degree or equivalent along with 8 - 13 years of data risk and/or data management experience
- Experience/Familiarity with data risk and data management topics (data governance, data protection, data quality, data ethics, data regulations, etc.) ideally in a financial services organization
- Experience with reporting tools is a plus (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and project/program management skills
- People management / strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to spearhead working groups and maintain collaborative, working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Thrive in a dynamic organization where priorities shift to adapt to business needs / risks

- You are a strategic problem-solver who approaches work with an open mind and sense of creativity by challenging current practices and recommending improvements to mitigate risks and drive positive change
- You possess the ability to build strong and expansive working relationships with internal business partners to inspire change, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data risk management processes
- You have excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor the tone, style, and format to suit different purposes and audiences

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
