Job Description:
Enterprise Cyber Security - Insider Threat Engineering Team is seeking a technology professional to help secure Fidelity's proprietary and regulatory related data. The successful candidate will possess expertise with workstations, servers, networking appliances, mobile devices, and SaaS platforms. The responsibilities of this role include working with our business partners to assess security gaps, recommend, build, and implement solutions for risk mitigation and optimize existing end user security tools.
Enterprise Cybersecurity is a central Information Security organization within Fidelity Investments serving the Enterprise as a whole. The scope of the ECS Insider Threat Security team is to engineer, and implement Data Loss Prevention Solutions for Endpoint, Network, and Cloud implementations. This is to ensure that our Internal Threat partners have the right tools and capabilities to detect, prevent and respond to improper use of solutions and the exfiltration of sensitive data.

The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science, or a closely related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience implementing and maintaining endpoint security solutions, ideally in an Agile DevOps model
- Knowledge of IT security processes and controls as well as IT infrastructure and networking technical knowledge
- Experience identifying threats, vulnerabilities, exploitations and applying security controls, tools and techniques to detect or capture information on domains or subjects
- Familiarity with the OSI model and security that is associated with each layer
- Ability to navigate and work/communicate across a complex organization that is geographically dispersed
- Experience and hands on knowledge with one or more of the following: Data Loss Prevention security controls (Data in Motion/Use/Rest) and tools (e.g., McAfee DLP/Splunk/Wireshark/Snort/Forensic tools); Microsoft Purview Information Protection
- Ability to automate using object-oriented languages such as Python, Java, PowerShell and others
- Engineer solutions by conducting use case analysis, facilitating non-production validation, considering performance and capacity impacts, and implementing solutions to production environments with appropriate coordination and change control
- Rapid prototyping of new concepts, technologies, and development methods
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of production environments including monitoring and addressing reported problems, scaling, upgrading, automation, and analyzing metrics
