The Purpose of Your Role
Part for DC organization, you are responsible to play a dual role of techno functional on the Recordkeeping systems. You will directly manage a team of resources that address business needs and opportunities with technical solutions driven by the market. As a technologist, working directly with both technical and business stakeholders to translate a vision and designs into sustainable business solutions. You will be responsible for the system design of complex software applications, ensuring they are built with quality, consistency to our standards, performance and responsive to the device accessing the application.

The Value You Deliver
This role will be expected to be a part of the DC(Defined Contribution) organization and would be responsible for working on DC record keeping services(Ventura) application that is used by Fidelity's workplace customers. You will be responsible to ensure the team lives agile values and principles. You will need to ensure good relationship between the team and other stake holders. You are also responsible for managing/mentoring multiple scrum teams and provide oversight.
Responsibilities of the role includes
• Motivate and drive senior and junior team members towards successful delivery of product releases and provide technical leadership.
• To work collaboratively with product owners, business stake holders and other teams towards successful and quality delivery.
• Evaluate and recommend technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market
• Assist in ramping up team, identifying tasks, estimating and planning work effort, tracking milestone completion, testing and all other project life cycle milestones.
• Manage the technology relationship within the organization
• Actively participate in product release cycle, daily stand up as well as helping team with tactical activities like design optimization etc.
• Exercise good judgment while resolving issues and escalating risk to the next level of management.
• Contribute to money in team with analysis of the Money-in services.
• Contribute and motivate team towards vitality and innovations on business ideas.

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of application architecture, as well as current and emerging technologies
• Demonstrates expert understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning
• Strong software development skills using Java and web application technologies in a service-oriented architecture
• Experience in Server Side technologies like .Net, .Netcore, C++, C#, Java.
• Experience in Open Source Frameworks - Spring, REST
• Knowledge of Cloud patterns like Docker, Azure, AWS, kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis and test driven development
• Mastery in Development Lifecycle Methodologies: Agile.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and formulate recommendations
• Strong collaboration, communication and business relationship skills and experience with mid-large project team
