The Role

An Annuity New Business Specialist provides administrative support to phone and branch sales representatives and Fidelity customers with annuity applications and transactions. You will have full competency of product, system and procedure knowledge to process the business and provide superior support for our customers. The role includes data entry, paperwork processing as well as sales associate and client contact. The objectives include timely and accurate data entry and processing of annuity applications and developing and enhancing client relationships through extraordinary service.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience with demonstrated customer interaction and data entry skills.
  • Financial services, banking and/or insurance processing experience strongly preferred

The Team

FIA New Business processes every application for clients who purchase an annuity at Fidelity. We strive to review, process and issues each client contract as quickly and accurately as possible. To provide innovative methods and practices to ensure our customers' experience when purchasing an annuity at Fidelity is the best in the industry.

Our sole purpose is to provide superior support to our branch and phone financial professionals so that we help them strengthen their client's relationship with the firm and help them inspire better futures for all Fidelity customers.

As part of our role we:

  • Perform initial application reviews and perform data entry into multiple workflow systems in a fast paced and accurate way.
  • Manage high value funding transactions and complex quality control reviews.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with internal and external partners through various communications channels
  • Prioritize issues requiring research and resolution.
  • Maintain strong and effective relationships with Fidelity business partners with whom we interface, including PI representatives, FIA operations and compliance associates.
  • Partner with sales associates to strengthen client relationships through outstanding customer interactions and execution of our work objectives.
