The Role

As an Analyst, Repurchase Agreements, you will support the operational activities for the various repo products managed by the team.

• Collaborate with your team to complete trade confirmation and settlement, complete collateral management and tri party repo collateral oversight,
• Execute margin calls, support audit inquiries, research and resolve trade or collateral exceptions and be a contact for business partners
• Provide support for tactical, strategic, and regulatory projects.

• Escalate problems which could have a potential impact on daily operations
• Assist in the development and review for new and/or changes to departmental policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely work by following procedures & controls

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of financial services work experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with others implementing solutions (across business units)
• Ability to recognize and escalate high-risk items to minimize loss to either the shareholder and/or Fidelity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (such as Word or Excel), and the ability to train on and work with different operating systems

The Team

The Repo Operations team is a business unit within Global Middle Office. We work with Fidelity's trading desks, global custodians, broker-dealers, and various internal and external business partners to support repo trade and collateral management for Fidelity managed funds. Core processing and services that the Repo Analyst will support includes trade confirmation and settlement, collateral management, tri party repo collateral oversight, audit, and on-boarding of new products, funds, and broker-dealers. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
