The Role

The CE Project/Data Analyst within the Client Experience (CE) division is responsible for executing on various types of data focused projects in support of both new and existing institutional firms of Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services (FIWMS). The Team

As the Client Experience Project Data Analyst, you will focus on performing detailed analysis of clients' brokerage account data, facilitating core money market fund changes end to end, leading internal account transfer events, and the coordination of the movement of accounts for clients transitioning within or exiting the financial services business. The individual is encouraged to have a detailed understanding of Fidelity's mainframe ('FBSI'), broad operational background, MS Office especially Excel, as well as various FIWMS brokerage products and services. This is a client facing position that has significant impact on client's overall satisfaction with the CE platform.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree, 5+ years professional experience in financial services
  • Customer-facing brokerage operations, trading, or back-office support.
  • Fidelity Clearing and/or Custody Services experience preferred.
  • NASD Series 7 licenses strongly preferred
  • Excel experience with v-lookups and queries
  • Project Management experience preferred

The Skills You Bring

  • Proven analytical, and problem-solving abilities with excellent judgment, issues management and process analysis skills.
  • You will analyze client data files using MS Excel, ad hoc queries, and v-lookups.
  • Interpret client and systems sourced files, perform data analysis, advise on data quality challenges, and assist in file transmissions.
  • You will analyze account registrations to ensure compatibility for pending core money market fund changes.
  • Your role includes coordinating account migrations within Correspondent broker/dealers, including analysis of client and account level products and features, review of the analysis findings with the Correspondents, and facilitating the systematic transfer at scale of accounts and assets.

The Value You Deliver

  • Own end-to-end project plan, ensuring all items and tasks are being completed in a timely fashion. Pro-actively identify and mitigate any potential barriers that might cause a negative client experience and / or create additional risk to our clients and our firm.
  • Lead internal & client facing meetings, and to work with multiple business partners to coordinate Correspondent AICS (automated internal conversion system) and deconversion events.
  • Communicate directly with clients on all matters related to events you are project managing; communicate on scheduled or ad hoc phone calls, email, or in person.
  • You will be a subject matter expert for the group and be responsible for training newer associates on the data team projects / processes.
  • Continue to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure corresponding internal and external documentation is updated.
The base salary range for this position is $52,000-$83,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
