The Role

The Testing & Reporting Compliance Associate is responsible for completion of Plan Year End Summary (PYES/annual reporting) and Form 5500 work. The position also provides incoming phone support to plan sponsors and auditors via the Testing and Reporting Services Helpline:

• Preparation of Form 5500 files and/or year-end report processing
• Provide support to other staff members for more advanced and special tier PYES and Form 5500 work
• Respond to basic technical and data related questions from business partners
• Research and reconcile processing errors/issues related to production work
• Provide incoming phone support via Helpline as required

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• College degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience working with Defined Contribution plans
• Defined Contribution plan reporting and/or Form 5500 experience preferred
• Understanding of basic define contribution plan rules - vesting, eligibility, withdrawals
• Basic math and/or accounting skills
• Strong computer/database/recordkeeping skills - specifically Excel
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients and peers
• Basic verbal and written communication skills

The Testing & Reporting Compliance Analyst works as part of a team to deliver a timely and accurate Plan Year End Summary to our clients to help them meet the regulatory requirements of having a qualified retirement plan. In Testing & Reporting Services, we strive to continuously evolve our processes, systems, and training, to increase quality, drive efficiency, and provide a better experience for our Clients and Associates.
