Description
The Education & Policy Intern will assist the FSMB's Education Department in updating and expanding its online educational modules on medical regulation, while also informing the FSMB's policies related to the regulation of the practice of medicine, including, but not limited to, licensure, physician well-being, and ethics and professionalism. The Education & Policy Intern will be expected to be an integral part of FSMB projects in these areas. Projects may include analyzing best practices in online medical education for medical students, trainees, and practicing physicians, researching and drafting summaries of available external educational opportunities, and assisting in development of best practice recommendations for internal use by the FSMB.

The position will be remote, with possible infrequent in-person meetings at the FSMB's Washington, D.C. office. The Education & Policy Intern position will be a paid part-time position for four (4) weeks (12-15 hours per week) with a potential extension.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review FSMB's existing online educational modules
- Conduct medical education and regulatory research
- Engage in external online educational opportunities
- Analyze and prepare summaries of available external online educational modules
- Compile a document outlining best practices in education and communication of regulatory processes
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Currently enrolled in the fourth year of a medical school (MD or DO granting) program at an accredited university or college.
