Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will design, develop, test, and/or maintain moderately complex hardware, technology, and/or processes.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Senior Python Developer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Determine customer needs and create solution frameworks.
  • Design and develop moderately complex technical solutions.
  • Use a process-driven approach in designing solutions.
  • May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain robust microservices using Python (Flask or FastAPI).
  • Deploy and manage applications and services in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with modern architecture principles and observability best practices.
  • Write testable, maintainable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Work in an agile team to plan, design, and deliver high-quality software features.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years

Skills

  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
  • The group of skills related to Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.

Tools

  • Skilled in Python object-oriented programming

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Python syntax, built-in data structures and OOP concepts.
  • Strong experience in Terraform, building and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and managing applications and services in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, ECS/EKS, and DynamoDB.
  • Deep understanding of API design and implementation.
  • Proficient with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
  • Familiar with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code, with a strong emphasis on implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality and reliability
